The Master of Medicine (MMed) in Urology is a fvive-year, hospital-based specialist training program designed to prepare physicians for the diagnosis and surgical management of diseases of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. The program combines structured academic instruction with progressive supervised clinical and operative training in urological care. It emphasizes competencies in urologic oncology, endourology, stone disease management, reconstructive urology, and emergency urological conditions, alongside research and quality improvement training, preparing graduates to serve as competent urologists within Rwanda’s health system and beyond.
