The Master of Science (MSc) in Infectious Diseases is a two-year postgraduate program designed to provide advanced training in the study, prevention, diagnosis, and control of infectious diseases. The program combines structured coursework, laboratory-based learning, and research, covering areas such as epidemiology of infectious diseases, microbiology, emerging and re-emerging infections, antimicrobial resistance, and infection prevention and control. It prepares graduates for careers in clinical research, public health practice, laboratory services, and academia, contributing to strengthening infectious disease surveillance, control, and response in Rwanda and beyond.
