The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology at the University of Rwanda, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, School of Medicine and Pharmacy, is a full-time, research-intensive doctoral program designed to develop advanced expertise in mental health research and clinical practice. Delivered primarily through independent supervised research, the program typically spans a minimum of three years and requires candidates to produce and defend an original thesis contributing to the field of clinical psychology . Trainees are exposed to advanced research training, academic dissemination, and interdisciplinary collaboration, preparing graduates for leadership roles in clinical practice, academia, and mental health policy and research.
