The College of Medicine and Health Sciences is part of the University of Rwanda ; whose formation was put in law on October 15th 2013. The College, also known as UR-CMHS has a central role to play in the social and economic development of the nation through training of medical doctors and health professionals. In support of this, the College engages in capacity building relevant to this cause by spearheading health training initiatives and capacity building, through robust and relevant research programs.
